SANTA FE, N.M. —
The Santa Fe Police Department and the Colfax County Sheriff's Office have arrested a man for allegedly possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material.
Cameron Ogletree, 35, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with sexual exploitation of a child (possession) (child under 13 years old) and sexual exploitation of a child (distribution) following a proactive engagement with an unknown person who was exchanging child sexual abuse material (CSAM) over the internet.
Police say that the individual distributed CSAM to detectives over a two-month period.
During the investigation, police were able to identify the location from where the material was being sent as being located in Maxwell.
