On Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, KOAT's Faith Egbuonu spoke with District 5 candidates, incumbent Albuquerque City Councilor Dan Lewis, 55, and challenger Athenea Allen, 46. Both candidates tackled key issues impacting District 5, which include infrastructure, public safety, crime, and homelessness.
