ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young exited Wednesday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets with a right knee sprain, according to the team .

The injury occurred late in the first quarter when Young and Mouhamed Gueye collided while the latter tripped while guarding Nets forward Noah Clowney. Gueye fell onto Young’s leg, who immediately grabbed his knee.

Young tried to stay in the game but went to the locker room after a few seconds of action.

Young finished with six points, one rebound, one assist and one block.
