Kolkata: Orkla India IPO opened for bidding on Wednesday, October 29. It has been subscribed 0.79 times overall on the first day of bidding — 0.90 times in the retail category, 0.02 times in QIB (Ex Anchor) category and 1.53 times in the NII category. The company already managed to mop up Rs 499.60 crore from anchor investors such as Nippon India Mutual Fund, Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, LIC Mutual Fund, Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund, Nomura Funds Ireland, Government Pension Fund Global, Jupiter India Fund and Pinebridge India Equity Fund.
