Srinagar, Oct 30: Three Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislators were marshalled out of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Thursday after they stormed into the well of the House, protesting against alleged corruption in the Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department and the government’s refusal to hold a discussion on flood victims.
The ruckus began during the Question Hour when BJP members demanded suspension of business to discuss the recent floods, citing a fresh adjournment motion. However, Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather ruled that a motion on the same issue could not be reintroduced once rejected.
