DETROIT (Gray News) – A Michigan judge was left stunned during a court hearing over Zoom when a Detroit officer joined the call wearing no pants, according to local media.
WXYZ reported officer Matthew Jackson appeared during the Zoom hearing on Monday in the 36th District Court.
The hearing was for reckless driving and public intoxication against a woman, according to WDIV .
In the courtroom video, Jackson can be seen on screen wearing his police uniform but no pants. He was wearing underwear.
Upon seeing Jackson’s state of dress, Judge Sean Perkins asked, “You got some pants on, officer?”
Jackson is seen replying, “No, sir,” before changing his camera’s framing so his lower body was no longer visible.
The rest of the hearing went on as planned.
