WATERTOWN – The Zoning Board of Appeals granted front setback variances to two adjacent properties on Booth Ave. last Wednesday, agreeing the variances were in keeping with the neighborhood and the hardship was the result of the subdivision of property before zoning was established in town.

The votes grant Water Oak LLC a variance of 13 ft. to the front yard property line setback for the construction of a 39’x 78’ single family home to be located, at closest, 22 ft. from the front property line at Lot 2A Booth Avenue, and a variance of 7 ft. to the front yard property line setback for the construction of a 39’x 51.58’ single family home to be located, at closest, 28 ft. from the front property line at Lot 2B Booth Avenue.
