GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Construction has been complete and all the necessary preparations are finished as Kwik Trip officials celebrate the grand opening of a new 'Gen 3' store on Green Bay's West Mason Street.

The brand new, roughly 9,100 square foot, Kwik Trip officially opened its doors on Thursday, October 30, in the 1000 block of West Mason Street.

Construction of the new Kwik Trip with a 'modern design' began on May 26, taking over the lot that was previously used by a local business complex, including the previous home to Badger State Liquor for over 40 years before its closing.

The new location is labeled as a 'Gen 3' store, becoming only the second 'Gen 3' location in Brown County. The Kwik Trip on 2499 South Point Road in Ashwaubenon is the other 'Gen 3' store.
