Two people have been rushed to hospital following a horror crash in Aberdeen today.

Emergency services raced to King Street, near the University of Aberdeen's MacRobert building, after the alarm was raised at around 9.30am on Thursday, October 30.

Three ambulances and two response teams were quickly dispatched to the scene. Two patients were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary , however their conditions remain unknown.

Pictures show a number of police vehicles in attendance following the multi-vehicle crash. An area of the road can be seen to be cordoned off while an investigation is carried out at the scene.

A Scottish Ambulance spokesperson said: "We received a call at 9.31am to attend a road traffic collision on King Street, Aberdeen.
