While Fremont will have to contend with the loss of three seniors, including 1,000-point scorer Addy Parr, the engine that helped drive them to a 20-win season and a second straight sectional title returns in the form of Grace Scharlach.

Scharlach and fellow junior Mya Turner give the Eagles a tremendous 1-2 punch in the backcourt, as well as a chance to take a big step forward in the Northeast Corner Conference.

“Grace brings a very high motor and the ability to get the ball up the court for us,” Fremont coach Shae Thomas said. “She’s a big key for us. She can score off the drive and from the outside.
