OTTUMWA, Iowa ( KCCI ) - Ottumwa will celebrate a new all-wheels park Saturday morning with a free community event. The city invites everyone to try out the park with whatever wheels they have.

The event begins with a ribbon-cutting at 10:30 a.m. November 1 at Sycamore Park.

It replaces the park’s 25-year-old, all-metal skate park.

The new concrete park was constructed with feedback from community skaters and bikers.

The celebration will include demonstrations by Standard Bykes and local skaters, and live music from Hollow Tree and Pure Service.

Tacos Morita and Triple B’s Food trucks will give food tickets to the first 60 guests.
