The Government has today announced there will be NO public inquiry into the Birmingham Pub Bombings.

In what is a devastating final blow for the victims' families and campaigners from Justice4The21, Security Minister Dan Jarvis announced a statutory inquiry will not go ahead.

Instead families will be invited to apply to an independent commission to carry out an investigation into the events of 1974, when 21 people were murdered at two city pubs. It was the darkest day in the city's recent history.
