EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Two employees of an Evansville spa are facing prostitution charges.

Evansville Police said 57-year-old Qinghua Liu and 37-year-old Ying Chen, both of New York, both were arrested for promoting prostitution after search warrant was served at the Star Spa on North Green River Road Wednesday night.

Maintenance workers at the were working on behalf of the property owner at the location when Chen offered workers sexual favors for money. Following the complaint, detectives conducted surveillance of the business, where multiple male customers entered and left the spa location.

Customers of the spa told police they were offered sexual acts for money, in which they declined.
