Martin O'Neill making a winning return to the Celtic technical area brought much comment on the Hotline.
The 73-year-old had an enjoyable first game back at the club alongside Shaun Maloney as his team defeated Falkirk 4-0 at Parkhead.
O’Neill says he’s not there for the long term, but Stephen Mulhern, Dumbarton, was happy to see his actions and said: “Rather than being suited and booted, it was interesting that O’Neill turned back the clock and reverted to a tracksuit.
“To me, it sent out a message to his players that he means business now he’s back. There was more energy and commitment on the park that’s been missing and the dilemma he faces on Sunday is whether to bring back the underperforming Reo Hatate into the starting line-up.”
