CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A 73-year-old woman has died from her injuries after being struck by two cars while walking on the city’s West side Wednesday morning.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Beverly Jones, of Cleveland.
The accident happened around 10 a.m. Wednesday at W. 58th Street and Lorain Avenue.
After Jones was struck by the first vehicle and was laying in the street, she was struck by a second vehicle.
The driver of the first vehicle stayed on the scene after the accident and called 911.
A witness told 19 News she stopped to help.
“It was the worst thing, I was doing chest compressions, I said, ‘come on baby please hold on, help is coming,’ and at the very moment I said that this nurse came out and started helping with compressions,” said the wi
