KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A Lady Vol great will be inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.

The WBHOF announced Thursday that Candace Parker is one of eight people to be inducted.

Parker was a part of back-to-back National Championship teams on Rocky Top in 2007 and 2008.

She was the number one overall pick in the WNBA draft in 2008.

Parker played 17 seasons becoming the first woman in WNBA history to win three championships with three different teams.

The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be June 27, 2026 inside the Tennessee Theatre.
