ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WBTW) -- Robeson County, state and federal authorities conducted multiple searches Wednesday in connection with a mass shooting last weekend that killed two people and left 11 others hurt.

The searches, which were conducted throughout the county, started Wednesday morning and went into the night, the sheriff's office said. One of the searches took place in the area of the crime scene, which happened on Dixon Drive in the Maxton area.

Nehemiah Locklear, 16, and Jessie Locklear Jr., 49, were found dead at 298 Dixon Drive just after 1 a.m. Saturday. Eleven other people between the ages of 17 and 43 were shot, including multiple teenagers.
