CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) - The public is being invited to meet Carbondale’s new Police Chief at a Meet & Greet event on Tuesday, November 4.
The event is set to take place at the Carbondale Civic Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Organizers say the public will get the chance to hear about Carbondale Police Chief Anthony Copeland’s vision for the community, ask questions, share concerns and connect with neighbors.
Copeland was named the city’s new police chief in July and began his new role on September 2.
The meet and greet event is free and sponsored by the Black Graduate Greek Council, Beyond the Walls The Movement and the NAACP Carbondale Branch.
