CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - The Safe House of Southeast Missouri announced its new executive director.

According to the board of directors on Thursday, October 30, Kim Dixon was officially appointed to the position.

She had been serving in the interim since September, after former Executive Director Jessica Hill announced she had accepted a new position.

Dixon has been a member of the Safe House team for 15 years, serving most recently as operations director.

“I have witnessed firsthand the evolution of our agency, and I am deeply invested in ensuring its continued growth and impact. I look forward to continuing my time with the Safe House and the mission of ending domestic violence in our community,” Kim Dixon said in a news release.
