That’s a wrap for the Detroit-based crime drama “BMF” as Starz has cancelled the series after four seasons, according to Variety.
The show was inspired by the true story of the Black Mafia Family, a street gang that rose to prominence in Detroit in the 1980s. The show’s cast featured Demetrius Flenory Jr. who portrayed his real-life father and BMF co-founder Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory.
Other cast members included Da’Vinchi, Russell Hornsby, Michole Briana White, Steve Harris, La La Anthony, Sydney Mitchell, Laila D. Pruitt, Myles Truitt, and Eric Kofi Abrefa. Along with the main cast, the show featured appearances by rappers such as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ne-Yo, 2 Chainz, Kash Doll and Saweetie.
The season four finale, which now serves as the series finale, aired on Aug. 15. “BMF” cons
