GREENSBORO, N.C. — The woman accused of stabbing and killing 27-year-old Brianna Best Parker is facing increased charges related to her death, according to court documents acquired by WFMY News 2.

On Aug. 5, Parker was found unresponsive with stab wounds and dies after she was taken to a nearby hospital, according to Reidsville police

Ana Tonche-Garza, 21, was later charged with voluntary manslaughter. Now, she faces a second degree murder charge due to "malice aforethought" before the murder.

Parker used to work for Bennett College in the Financial Aid Office. Loved ones described her as strong, sincere, and faithful.
