JANESVILLE, Wis. (WKOW) -- Janesville police said a missing 12-year-old was found safe after the agency requested help from the public in looking for him.

The boy had left Edison Middle School, and his whereabouts were unknown.

Janesville police said the boy was found around 11 a.m. and was unharmed. They thanked the public for their help.
