OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - Habitat for Humanity of Owensboro-Daviess County officials say they have received a $100,000 grant from the Hager Educational Foundation to support the upcoming Owensboro Health Build.
According to a press release, the Owensboro Health Build is a new neighborhood development that will consist of 15–20 affordable homes for local families.
Officials say the Foundation’s board approved the grant, recognizing the hospital housing project as a meaningful effort to meet the housing needs of citizens in the Owensboro community.
They say the first $50,000 payment will be issued in Fall 2026, with the second installment in 2027.
