HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - A big party is set for next week in Henderson.

After three years of work, Section 1 of the Ohio River Crossing in Henderson is done.

Governor Andy Beshear and state and local leaders are hosting a ribbon cutting and community celebration.

Festivities will begin on the new road that connects the Highway 41 interchange to the Highway 60 interchange, leading to Interstate 69.

People are invited to walk the new road before they drive it, while learning facts about the project along the way.
