Donyea Stubbs, Jr., 31, is charged with failure to comply with a police officer, a first-degree misdemeanor; resisting arrest, a second-degree misdemeanor; and escape, a fifth-degree felony; along with his sexual imposition charge.
According to a police report, Stubbs was in court about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday for the sexual imposition charge and parole violation, as he is living in a halfway house, when an officer stationed at the court got word from the clerk that Stubbs had been served with the charges and looked like he was going to flee.
The officer then heard doors slamming on an upper floor and footsteps running down the hall. He then saw Stubbs
