The New England Patriots are on a five-game win streak, and the main reason for their success has been the play of their offense. While the players obviously have to go out and perform, offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels is continually finding ways to put his guys in the best spots possible.

Once Mike Vrabel was hired as the Patriots’ head coach over the offseason, he quickly brought McDaniels back to town for his third stint as the team’s offensive coordinator. After his time with the Las Vegas Raiders as their head coach went up in flames, there was some skepticism about the decision to hire McDaniels.

Instead, McDaniels has come in and helped the Pats’ offense take a major step forward this season. Second-year quarterback Drake Maye looks more and more comfortable in McDaniels’
