CHICO, Calif. - The Chico Panthers roared back with a decisive victory against Corning, taking control after losing the opening set 25-20. Senior leaders Amy Armstrong and Kaycee Konopka, alongside freshman standout Stella Pfeiffer, led the charge.
Armstrong's powerful kill shifted the momentum, igniting a strong team response that propelled the Panthers through the second set and beyond. "Going into this game we want to be really positive and keep a good mindset so that we want to go up against our rival P.V. next week and get a win," Konopka said. "It's really important because we have lost two times to P.V. this year and it would be a really big upset going up against P.V. as a four seed and beat the number one seed.
