NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTNH) — Three people were arrested after police issued a search and seizure warrant at a New London home Wednesday evening.
The warrant for a home on Truman Street allowed officers to seize 26.13 grams of crack cocaine, 8.34 grams of fentanyl, 6.98 grams of MDMA/methamphetamine, and almost $700 in U.S. currency, along with scales and material for packaging drugs.
New London police arrested 36-year-old Headley Thomas of Hartford, 36-year-old Dennis Newton of New London, and 36-year-old Belvon James of Hartford on the following charges: • Three counts of possession of narcotics • Three counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell • Operation of drug factory
James was additionally charged with interfering with a search warrant.
