Cameron Norrie fails to build on impressive win over Carlos Alcaraz at Paris Masters
Cameron Norrie suffered a disappointing 7-6 (7-4) 6-4 defeat to Valentin Vacherot at the Paris Masters on Thursday (October 30).
The British No. 2 came into his Round of 16 contest fresh off beating World No. 1 and six-time major winner Carlos Alcaraz 24 hours prior.
The 30-year-old's display against the top seed was very impressive as he had to come from a set down to advance in the French capital.
He described the performance as the "biggest win" of his career due to it being his first ever triumph over a current World No. 1 player.
The World No. 31's exit to Vacherot came as a result of him failing to convert any of the five break points he had throughout the contest.
