WASHINGTON — An 18-year-old man wanted for two murders in D.C. has been arrested, according to U.S. Attorney for D.C., Jeanine Pirro.

Pirro announced the arrest of Naqwan Antonio Lucas, which happened Wednesday night in Germantown, Md., according to MPD Chief Pamela Smith.

Lucas was wanted in connection to the shooting death of 21-year-old congressional intern Eric Tarpinian-Jachym as well as 17-year-old Zoey Kelley, who Pirro said was once Lucas' girlfriend.

Tarpinian-Jachym, 21, from Granby, Massachusetts, was working in D.C. as an intern for Rep. Ron Estes (R-Kan.). Just before 10:30 p.m. on June 30, he was hit in a drive-by shooting near the Mount Vernon Square 7th Street-Convention Center Metro station. The next day, he died from his injuries in the hospital.
