Just in time for the busy holiday travel season, Dallas Love Field has introduced new high-tech security lanes designed to move passengers through checkpoints faster and more securely.

As of Thursday, Love Field is the first airport in Texas to launch CLEAR’s new biometric eGates, part of a nationwide effort to modernize airport security before the holiday travel rush and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The eGates use facial recognition to instantly match a traveler’s ID and boarding pass. According to CLEAR, its members can move through the checkpoint in as little as five seconds before proceeding to physical screening.
