NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — For the fourth time in five weeks, No. 9 Vanderbilt is set to face a top 20 team.
This time, the Commodores (7-1, 3-1 SEC) will travel to Austin to take on the No. 20 Texas Longhorns (6-2, 3-1 SEC).
The Longhorns are on a three-game win streak, but they've been living life on the edge the past two weeks, winning on the road in overtime against both Kentucky and Mississippi State.
The big question surrounding this game is whether Texas quarterback Arch Manning will play. Manning is in concussion protocol after taking a hit late in the Longhorns' seven-point victory over Mississippi State.
If Manning is unable to play, Texas quarterback Matthew Caldwell will start on Saturday. The Commodores are responding by preparing for both quarterbacks.
