NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man accused of threatening to shoot up Fifth and Broadway is now behind bars, two months after allegedly making the phone call, according to an arrest affidavit.
The affidavit states that Benjamin ‘Little Bear’ Johnson called Fifth and Broad, telling a security officer on the phone, “I’m coming to shoot up Fifth and Broad and a lot of people are going to get hurt,” in August.
Then, he said everyone had five minutes to get out — security then called 911 and Metro Nashville Police officers showed up.
Later, they learned Johnson had been walking around the Central Precinct earlier in the day with another man. Police say they threatened officers there and said things about being in the military.
