LA VERNGE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The city of La Vergne is warning residents about a potential email scam circulating in the area.
The city said the emails claim to be from the city and requesting payments.
Officials received a report of a scam email that looked authentic and appeared to come from a legitimate city email address. In the email, the scammer requested payment and provided a link or instructions on how to submit funds.
