The penultimate week of the high school football regular season has arrived in the Lone Star State.
With the race for district titles heating up as the postseason looms, a number of teams around the region have a chance to score big wins that could impact playoff seeding this weekend.
In District 1-3A Division I, Dalhart and Bushland square off in a crucial game that will have district title implications. Following a loss to Shallowater, the Falcons need a victory to secure better playoff positioning while the Wolves still have a path to winning the league after taking down River Road and improving to 7-1.
Elsewhere, Farwell and Gruver square off in Hansford County in another contest that will have a major impact on the district title race. The Greyhounds dropped their district opener,
