GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - 40 delegates from various African nations toured Grand Island agricultural and manufacturing facilities Thursday as part of the International Agribusiness and Manufacturing Fair.
The delegation, led by the Midlands African Chamber in partnership with the International Agribusiness Initiative, visited facilities including Chiefs Fabrication and Case New Holland to observe advanced technologies and operational efficiencies.
The collaboration between African delegates and Nebraska leaders was designed to showcase opportunities for investment, innovation and food security. Nebraska’s established reputation as a hub for agricultural innovation drew international attention to Grand Island.
