MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile police are investigating after a man was struck on Government and Ann Streets.
News 5 has learned that a 65-year-old man was struck by a car while attempting to cross the street at around 7:30 p.m.
Police say he was wearing dark clothing at the time, and the car had a green light. When News 5 arrived on the scene, his shoes were still in the street. The car's windshield was also shattered from the impact.
It is unclear the extent of his injuries at this time, but he was unconscious when EMS took him to a local hospital.
