TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Rescue teams have found their way out onto the trails many times this year to save hikers who have been injured or lost.
They said a big struggle is finding those people, and one state park thinks it has found a solution.
There are 24 miles worth of trails at Oracle State Park, but now you won’t need to know the land by heart to find your way back.
The park is planning on having 32 red signs placed across its 4,000 acres with information on where to call if you are lost or injured.
The posts will have different numbers, which hikers can give to the rangers so they can quickly navigate them to the right path.
