GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The owners of a now-closed animal boarding facility in Altamont have rejected a plea deal. Marilyn and Stuart Reese and Jonathan Tenney appeared in court Thursday evening.
The three were allegedly involved in the death of a 2-year-old pitbull named Diesel at Meadowdale Acres. Police said the dog suffered extreme malnourishment and died at the facility in September.
The defendants' attorney said his clients are innocent, and the evidence will prove it.
"We will continue to have review, the discovery, and the next step will be to schedule the matter for hearings in order to determine whether there's enough proof to go to trial."
