KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- One study says Kansas City will be one of the five most dangerous places to go trick-or-treating this year.

Action Network reviewed FBI uniform crime reports, sex offender databases and NHTSA's fatality analysis reporting system. Kansas City got poor marks not just for violent crime, but for pedestrian safety.

The KC Metro has the second-highest number of deaths per 100,000 residents, only behind Columbus, Ohio.

"I know last week we had three people hit on bicycles, it's dangerous out there for adults, teenagers and especially it can be dangerous for small kids," Prospect Business Association President Don Maxwell said.
