Another set of traffic lights could be installed on Algonquin Avenue to help improve road safety on the busy four-lane roadway.
That is just one of the recommendations being proposed to the council in the Road Safety Review of Algonquin Avenue.

The goal is to reduce fatal and serious injuries by 15 per cent by 2028.
The other suggestions include no left turns at Maplewood and changes to the Norwood and Lansdowne intersection.
A few residents attended Tuesday’s open house at city hall.
One resident said she was happy with the suggestions, and also offered a few other considerations to alleviate the congestion and danger the roadway sees on a daily basis.
