BOSTON — The Bruins didn’t like Sabres forward Peyton Krebs hitting David Pastrnak behind the play and Mikey Eyssimont took matters in his own hands.
In a game that had been growing increasingly chippy as it progressed, a fight seemed inevitable.
It finally bubbled over in the third period at the blue line in front of the Sabres bench.
Eyssimont landed a pair of early right hands, but then appeared to lose his footing when he stumbled over one of their tossed-aside sticks.
Krebs connected on a couple of shots of his own and finished the fight on top before the linesmen jumped in.
