Union continued its surge in 6A-I District 2 play with a convincing win over Westmoore. Already leading 17-0 in the second quarter, Tayveon Parry Speight powered through multiple defenders for a tough touchdown run that pushed the Redhawks’ lead to 24-0.
Later, quarterback Dylan Taylor connected with Stone Turner on a screen pass, and Turner did the rest, cutting down the sideline, hurdling a defender, and sprinting into the end zone to cap another highlight moment.
Union’s offense and defense controlled the game throughout, cruising to a 44-7 victory and improving to 4-2 in district play.
