On Thursday, Oct. 30, the Pueblo East Eagles hosted the Coronado Cougars in a pivotal game between 3A Southern League opponents.

The Eagles came into this game riding a four-game win streak, and the Cougars were looking to knock the Eagles down out of the top spot in the league.

The game between the two league opponents was close from the start, with Coronado scoring first with a field goal. Shortly after, Dolphka Lewis scored for Pueblo East to take the lead for the home team.
