BBC radio legend Bob Harris has revealed he feels "grateful" despite battling through a "very low" period amid his cancer fight. 
The star, who hosts BBC Radio 2's Country programme, opened up about his ongoing battle with prostate cancer in a heartfelt update from his hospital bed. 
The 79-year-old posted a photograph on Instagram showing him resting in bed whilst explaining he remains under medical care. He wrote alongside the image: "I am so grateful for my cancer treatment but there are times when the side effects are really tough. Feeling very low tonight. Tomorrow I go again." 
Followers including Dermot O'Leary and Amanda Holden flooded the comments with messages of encouragement and affection, reports the Express .
