Every Friday morning of the high school football season, we’ll look back at a memory for that date in local football history.
Perrysburg gained its sixth unbeaten regular season in program history on Oct. 31, 2014, when it closed out its slate with a 36-0 home victory over Maumee.
In a game with five fumbles, the Yellow Jackets only had 17 more total yards (281-264) than Maumee but capitalized on two interceptions, two Panthers' fumbles lost, and a blocked punt to claim possession of the Ding Dong Bell (pictured).
"You've got to be happy with what we've done," Perrysburg head coach Matt Kregel said. "I've never been 10-0. We're enjoying it, but I'll remind the team tomorrow we have a new duty and new season next week."
