LAKEWOOD, Ohio — On Tuesday, Lakewood voters will decide on two open seats for the Lakewood City Schools Board of Education . Among the four candidates are incumbents Nora Katzenberger and Betsy Bergen Shaughnessy, as well as, challengers Monica Bruaw and Katie Slife Rustad.

Much of this campaign has centered on the district’s recent decision to repurpose Lincoln Elementary into a centralized early learning center.
