TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio — One person and a dog were found dead after a motor home fire Friday morning in Tuscarawas County, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Tuscarawas County 911 Center received a call at 11:38 a.m. reporting a motor home engulfed in flames on Von Kaenel Drive in Dover Township.

Neighbors told dispatchers they believed someone might be living inside the vehicle.

Fire crews from Dover, New Philadelphia, Strasburg, Bolivar, Mineral City, and Sugarcreek responded to the scene, along with Smith Ambulance. The fire was "fully involved" when firefighters arrived, officials said.
