GREENSBORO, N.C. — The government shutdown is impacting lots of people, including our neighbors at PTI Airport.

From Nov. 3 to Nov. 7, PTI Airport will accept donations for TSA officers and air traffic controllers working without pay due to the government shutdown.

Donations will be accepted between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day at the Airport Authority office on the departure level inside door #4 of the terminal.

You can donate non-perishable food, household essentials and personal care items, however gift cards and cash are not accepted.

"This is an opportunity to show support for those who help keep our airport safe and operating every day,” said Kevin Baker, Executive Director.
