Israel on Friday returned the bodies of 30 Palestinians, indicating that the Israel-Hamas ceasefire agreement is moving forward. The development, confirmed by the Red Cross and hospital officials, comes a day after Palestinian militants in Gaza handed over the remains of two hostages to Israel.

As per a report by the Associated Press, a doctor at Nasser Hospital in the southern city of Khan Younis confirmed receiving the ‘unidentified’ bodies. The transfer was facilitated by the teams of the Red Cross.

Ahmed al-Farra, head of the paediatric unit at Nasser Hospital, confirmed to the AP on Friday morning that the hospital received the unidentified bodies of 30 Palestinians from Israel.
